For over 35 years, Landis Hotel Group has been a benchmark in Taiwan’s hospitality industry. Beginning with its flagship property on Minquan East Road, the group has expanded across the island, known for its consistently thoughtful service and heartfelt hospitality. Its subsidiary, Landis Hospitality Management, has become a leading reference point for hotel excellence in Taiwan, with many properties adopting its service philosophy as a model.

WHAT WE Did
As global competition in the hospitality industry intensified—with the rise of themed business hotels, international chains, and booking platforms—the Landis Group sought to stay ahead without compromising its hallmark personalized service.
The challenge: How could the group honor its brand spirit—"More attentive than home"—in the face of a rapidly evolving, tech-savvy market?
Under the leadership of Chairwoman Ms. Lily Hsu, Landis initiated a brand transformation rooted in empathy and elevated service, crystallized in its new brand message:
“We hold you close at every moment.”
This brand renewal included:
- Deep internal reflection and cultural alignment led by the general manager
- Reframing of core values into a new brand proposition: “Exceptional Heartfelt Intention”
- A revitalized slogan and visual identity to signal the shift both internally and externally
From guests to employees, every person who steps into a Landis property is seen as a valued VIP—this principle now underpins every service touchpoint across the group.









WHAT CHANGES DID WE MAKE
Gremlin Works collaborated with Ming Island, a renowned brand consultancy, to lead the Landis Group’s digital transformation.
Together, we planned and executed a fully integrated digital ecosystem, covering:
Group-wide corporate website
Individual hotel websites
Dining brand websites
Online booking system
Guest management platform
Guest-exclusive mobile app
Membership marketing system (in partnership with Red Dot Technology)
This integration ensures seamless, personalized experiences across stay, travel, dining, and membership, all aligned with the brand’s new core promise:
“We hold you close at every moment.”

THE CHALLENGES
The Landis Group is known for its highly structured operations and rigorous service standards. Delivering a transformation of this scale required extensive stakeholder engagement.
Our team conducted interviews and workshops across multiple departments to gather requirements, align priorities, and plan for scalable innovation. After the build, we ran 12 tailored training sessions to onboard staff and ensure deep adoption of the new digital tools.
The result was not just a technical upgrade—but a shift in organizational mindset, enabling Landis to continue setting the gold standard in Taiwanese hospitality while embracing the future.
