WAVE CYCLE is a leader in aquatic fitness, offering a full range of water-based workouts alongside land-based classes like yoga and barre. Our members-only Aqua Studio provides a revitalizing space designed for comfort and performance, where buoyancy protects your joints and resistance builds lean muscle.

Aqua workouts strengthen muscular endurance, burn fat efficiently, and reduce joint stress. The natural massage from water flow stimulates lymphatic drainage and blood circulation—supporting detoxification and overall vitality.
WHAT WE Did
Gremlin Works designed a new website and member app for WAVE CYCLE, delivering a seamless digital experience aligned with the brand’s premium positioning.
The project included planning and development for key features such as class schedules, coach profiles, bookings, promotions, achievement tracking, and member rewards—integrated across both web and app platforms. A custom CRM system was also implemented to support efficient member management and engagement.
WAVE CYCLE maintains strict adherence to its Corporate Identity System (CIS), originally developed by Puddle Design. The comprehensive brand guidelines enabled Gremlin Works to execute UI/UX design with precision, ensuring full alignment with the brand’s visual identity and tone.
WHAT CHANGES DID WE MAKE
The website design incorporates parallax scrolling to express the brand’s sense of movement and energy. The UX interface was crafted with a mobile-first approach, adapting to different devices and user scenarios to ensure optimal usability and feature presentation across platforms.
Development was carried out in phases—covering the website, backend systems, mobile app, and integration with fitness devices. This holistic approach effectively increased member motivation and enhanced their sense of progress and achievement.
THE CHALLENGE
WAVE CYCLE is Taiwan’s first professional aquatic fitness studio, offering a specialized schedule and class structure that sets it apart from traditional gyms. Its equipment—custom-designed and air-shipped from the United States—is purpose-built for water-based training, requiring a new level of digital integration. Gremlin Works once again delivered a comprehensive digital solution, connecting devices, systems, and services into a unified experience.
